an ancient valley complete with 2 or 1 rivers (depends how u look at it) a few secrets...(goto homepage) a SMALL town and a castle complete with secret passages and loopholes (places to shoot out of) and a secret mapmaker room.the plot is the local (and small) village is in conflict with the local (and small) castle. thats about it...
Everything in this map was very interesting. All the dark (black, can't see any direction) especialy in the sceret rooms was too hard to tell what you were looking at. Also one secret room just made me get stuck and made lots of weird noise. There was some textures didn't look right (ie. woodplank direction on railings was like little blocks and not a rail). The stupid little things aside this map has many cool aspects that i like. Good work!

Deathbringer
A lot of the map felt put in just for the sake of being there and filling up space. The map is not suitable for a true game; the choice of items and their placement doesn't work at all. Also, if you are going to make huge cliffs you could at least make them look a little better by using the next grid size down to shape them - they look flat and boring. The lighting could also be improved drastically.
On the other hand, you have some nice aspects of the map like the bridge I thought was pretty good and the creative idea with climbing the chains, that I assume is yours as I have never seen it before, but these don't make up for lack of interesting detail.
If you work on cleaning it up in general and making the landscape a bit varied, it would turn out much better. Don't give up if you are still learning though, I tend to pick out ANY flaws and throw them around at people.
3/5
Hey zoozie, I can see that ur new around here! Don't be offended by Xsaii, as he pointed out he DOES tend to pick out flaws and toss them around. Anyways on to the map. Wow, this is your first map?!? Extremely well done! My first (and only, lolz) map wasn't nearly as detailed. However, the gameplay, as pointed out by xsaii, is not very good and could be made better. The details however, are great for such a big map. I liked the riverside graves and yes, the climbable chains. The secret rooms are really much too dark for my tastes, and actually for anyone probably. You could make this map into an RPG one, I'm sure that Eisenstern could use another one if it's ever going to grow! One more thing to improve on would be the cliff walls, as xsaii also pointed out. Overall, there is always room for improvement on detail, gameplay, weapon placement, and lighting. I give the map a 3.5/5, you gotsta keep it up! ; ) (If you were interested in knowing what my map was, copy and paste this into browser) http://www.quadropolis.us/node/888/
